Green Way was formed in May 2011. University knowledge combined with experience from field work and lessons from farmers with whom we conducted training sessions compelled us to create this app. Our vision is to share alternative agricultural techniques with farmers to help them improve their agricultural outputs and income levels.
It took us 5 years to develop this farmer-friendly app. We have been studying the farmers' needs, behaviours and farming conditions whilst working closely with them.
A group of technical experts are creating the required content based on agro-ecological zones, crop calendars and seasons in order to assist farmers on a timely basis.
We know what farmers need and know who can provide as well as support them, so we create linkages for a win-win outcome.
Its use saves time, money and paper work.

Working closely with the farmers helps us understand what their requirements are. The following features of our app are solely based on the needs of the farming community, enabling them to access practical information. Green Way is designed to be easy to navigate and farmer-friendly, as this is a community that is afraid to use this type technology by fear of it being too complicated.
Detailed information on how to get the seed to the dinner table shown in specific categories. Free agri-books provided.
We are now expanding to the livestock sector. As always we provide farm to fork techniques for aquaculture and dairy.
Being informed of possible drastic changes in climate and weather could be a way of preventing the massive losses farmers in Myanmar have been experiencing.
Answers to any questions are provided by specialised technicians that will help farmers come up with effective solutions to their problems.
This feature guides the farmers so they are able to make a strategic decision concerning selling prices and times to trade. Users will have access to real-life up to date pricing trends, so they know if prices are going up or down.
The app has been designed so that all agri-stakeholders such as DOA (govt), NGOs, traders and local shops can participate.
Available for download and reviewing on Android phones. As we support Myanmar-based farmers, the contents are in Myanmar language.
See how we have designed a simple and farmer-friendly app. Now this app is being used by farmers from every townships where internet connection is accessible in MYANMAR.
We strongly support inclusiveness and developed the app to enable all agri-stakeholders to participate. Feel free to contact us so we can explore potential cooperation.
